Location: Mt. Bisbee Washington

Information: This is a very hummingbird friendly flower. At this time it’s being studied widely as the assumption is there are many species of this flower that has yet to be properly identified.

Identification: A very bright red flower with yellow pistils shoots very tall (sometimes almost three feet) among other flowers in the month of June and July and is easily distinguished among other wildflowers.
