Mountain agoseris

Location: Nancy Creek Rd. Kettle Falls Washington

Identification: There are many names for this easily identified plant. Pale, Mountain, and field agoseris are a few examples. The similarities between the dandelion and this plant makes for an easy identification; the leafs grow at the base and the blossom looks like a large dandelion however the difference is that this is a very large plant in comparison with a very long stalk. (The stalk on the ones I found were anywhere from ten inches to a foot and a half tall.)
