Deptford Pink (Dianthus armeria)

Location: Mount Bisbee Washington
Information: The very fascinating name actually came from a England town with the same name many years ago. In some areas this little flower is actually considered an invasive weed but at best it’s considered an exotic or introduced flower to America. For the wildflower watcher this pretty little flower is a small gift from the England to America.
