Pine Siskin (Carduelis pinus)
Information; Cornell’s page on Pine Siskin
Identification; The pine siskin is a very small bird and in my case loves thistle seed and dark oil sunflowerseeds. I find it to be the most common bird at my feeders. Telling the sexes apart is difficult and left up to the highly trained birder.
